Quali Beers. Improvement of the quality of Tuscan agricultural beers in market dynamics and multifunctional diversification strategies.
The production of craft beer represents a continuous and rapid growth activity and the inclusion of malt and beer production among agricultural activities since 2010 is leading to an important form of multifunctional diversification of tuscan agricultural enterprises.
The overall objective of the project was to raise the technical and economic skills of entrepreneurs engaged in the production of agricultural beers by defining an operational protocol, and the transfer to craft breweries of knowledge relating to microbiological characteristics and the tools needed to innovate the production, conservation and marketing process.
The project was realized thanks to the funding of the Rural Development Plan 2014-2020 of the Tuscany Region, Sub-measures 16.2; 1.1; 1.2; 1.3.
