Project for the restoration of some historic gardens in the Municipality of Florence
The project concerns the restoration of several historic gardens owned by the Municipality of Florence (Villa Favard garden, Villa Strozzi park, Stibbert garden, Villa di Rusciano garden and part of the Horticulture garden).
Specifically, the work involved the planting of approximately 500 plants belonging to different species that characterised the parks in the past, in order to recall the historical importance of the individual gardens and protect the landscape that characterises them.
The work also involved the adaptation of the irrigation systems to allow the new plants to be planted properly and the restoration of some areas that are now in a state of semi-abandonment.
