MontEspertOlio. Qualitative and Commercial Enhancement of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Territorial Branding Processes in the Municipality of Montespertoli.

The project’s goal is to develop initiatives to enhance the production of extra virgin olive oil from a Tuscan area (in the municipality of Montespertoli) both in terms of quality and commercial appeal, emphasizing in the final product the unique characteristics derived from the region where it is made. The aim is to improve the product’s positioning in the final markets while simultaneously elevating the identity and attractiveness of the places where it is produced, allowing the development of specific “territorial branding” strategies.

To achieve this goal, it is necessary to start with a high-quality core product and then build upon it by working on the image, creating a product that is easily recognizable by consumers and perceived as unique in its category.

The project was made possible thanks to funding from the 2014-2020 Rural Development Plan of the Tuscany Region, Sub-measure 16.2.
